SHEQ Manager

EXPERIENCED COMPLIANCE / SHEQ / HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT PROCEDURES IN A ROLE REPORTING STRAIGHT TO THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

TITLE: SHEQ Manager / Health and Safety manager - Waste management

SALARY: £50,000

HOURS 7:30am-5pm Mon to Fri

LOCATION: Newport, Gwent

PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Compliance Manager, Health & Safety Officer, QHSE / HSEQ Advisor, Compliance Officer, SHEQ Manager, Health & Safety Manager, Compliance Advisor

ROLE: SHEQ Manager / Health and Safety manager - Waste management

You will be pivotal in the management of Health and Safety, Environment and Quality across a site with multiple functions, RAMS, RIDDOR, Toolbox, LOLER PUWER Talks etc.

You will administrate new and revised procedures, deal with the environment agency and HSE as required

ISO Management systems experience essential as the business is looking for someone who can maintain ISO 14001 and 9001

You will drive a positive working safety culture in the team

You will work with the Operations Manager to improve working processes

EXPERIENCE: Compliance Officer / SHEQ Advisor - Health & Safety

You will have a valid driving licence

You will have a IOSH or NEBOSH or Higher

Beneficial additional qualifications (non essential)

Any affiliations that would be desirable include TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA

WAMITAB / COTC would be desirable

You will have excellent IT skills
