Job Title: Developer Contributions Principal Planner

Location: East London

Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time

Salary: £28.56 - £35.80 per hour

Responsibilities:

Lead the developer contributions (S106 and CIL) work programme
Administer and review the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
Negotiate and administer s106 and CIL receipts
Develop policies, procedures, and guidance notes for planning obligations
Provide specialist technical advice to stakeholders
Represent the organisation on corporate working parties and decision-making structuresEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Comprehensive knowledge of Town and Country Planning Act and legislation
Degree in Town Planning or related field
Experience in spatial planning or related discipline
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Membership of the RTPI or RICS
Experience in economic viability and planning policy
Supervisory or line management experienceTechnologies: IT systems, business systems/process solutions
