Afterward, you could be meeting with internal teams to discuss remediation plans for a building undergoing refurbishment, ensuring that safety standards are maintained throughout the project. Later in the day, you might engage with residents, providing them with essential fire safety information and addressing any concerns they have about their homes.

You’ll need to be onsite regularly to conduct inspections and assessments, but you’ll also have the flexibility to work remotely when focusing on reporting and strategic planning.

Your role will cover all aspects of building safety management, from conducting hazard assessments and developing safety cases to working with, development teams, gathering Regulation 38 information for new builds, ready for registration and liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. If you’re proactive, dedicated to protecting residents, and committed to continuous improvement in building safety, we want to hear from you.

To be successful in this role, you’re:

* Committed to ensuring the highest standards of building safety.

* Independent and self-disciplined, with the ability to manage complex tasks and make sound decisions.

* Skilled in fire risk assessment and knowledgeable about structural safety requirements.

* Experienced in a similar role within the social housing sector.

* 30 days’ annual holiday, plus bank holidays

* two additional paid volunteering days each year

* flexible benefits scheme, including family friendly benefits and access to a discount portal

* 4 x salary life assurance

* up to 10% pension contribution

Are you ready to apply?

Closing date: 22nd November 2024.
