Yard Worker

Yard worker / Labourer required - IMMEDIATE START - Outskirts of Stowmarket, Suffolk - TRANSPORT REQUIRED.

This position is offering an IMMEDIATE START with no need to interview. You will be starting on an initial trial basis & which will be reviewed regularly & if successful this could lead to long term work. The company are offering an early start with a 3pm finish every day

Overtime is available at increased rates of pay & you will have a pay rise after your probationary period.

As a Production Operative You will be doing various labouring duties across the site which will include pouring concrete into moulds, sweeping up the yard, making timber frames and using various hand/power tools. Working with colleagues across the site, in the yard and in the factory. This will be a physically demanding role so an understanding around manual handling will be helpful.

Yard Operative duties: -

Proficient user of hand/power tools
Labouring background is beneficial
Physically fit
Building and construction industry experience is preferable but not essential
Own transport (due to the location)
Forklift License (counterbalance) - Nonessential but you may get a higher rate if you have one
Benefits: -

Overtime available through the week (paid at 1.25) and on weekends (Double time)
Additional bonuses on salary (please call for more details on this)
Hours of work are 06:00-15:00, Monday Friday.
