This secondary school in Derby is within walking distance to public transport, and is surrounded by a supportive community who like to get involved in school activities. They have a large team of teachers who share their skills, knowledge and techniques to support the whole school in being the best they can be.

As a Science Teacher you will:

Ignite Curiosity - Develop and deliver engaging lessons that make complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting for students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Hands-On Learning - Bring science to life through practical experiments, interactive demonstrations, and field trips that captivate and inspire
Foster Growth - Support and challenge students to reach their full potential, building confidence and critical thinking skills
Innovate - Utilise the latest technology and teaching methods to create a stimulating and modern learning environment
Collaborate - Work alongside a dedicated team of educators who are passionate about continuous improvement and professional developmentWhat we're looking for in a Science Teacher:

PGCE and QTS with a strong background in Science
A passion for teaching and a deep knowledge of your subject
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery
