Legionella Plumber

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Legionella Plumber to join a leading water hygiene consultancy. As a Legionella Plumber, you will play a crucial role in preventing legionnaires' disease across various sites in South London. This role is ideal for a skilled plumber with experience in legionella compliance, looking to join a growing company where your contributions as a Legionella Plumber will be acknowledged and rewarded.

Legionella Plumber Key Duties:

* Working from legionella risk assessments to mitigate risks in water systems

* Servicing, replacing, and installing TMVs

* Removing dead legs in plumbing systems

* Carrying out pipe modifications

* Decommissioning and commissioning CWSTs

* Cleaning and chlorination tasks as needed

* Water sampling and temperature monitoring

* Clearly communicating with clients, customers, and team members

Legionella Plumber Qualifications & Experience:

* A full UK driving license is required

* A Level 2 qualification in plumbing is essential

* A G3 unvented hot water certification is advantageous

* At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

* Strong understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8

* Proficient with computers

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
