Are you a compassionate and organized individual with a background in stoma care or healthcare support? This is your opportunity to join a dedicated Stoma Care Team, providing vital support to patients in the acute setting.

About the Role
As a Health Care Support Worker, you will work closely with qualified stoma care nurses to deliver high-quality care to patients with stomas or fistulas. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining stock, and supporting patients’ recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized stoma care under supervision.

* Develop core skills in stoma care while pursuing professional development.

* Liaise with hospital staff to facilitate high-quality patient care.

* Replenish and order stock for the stoma care department.

* Provide remote administrative support for the Carlisle nursing team, including patient calls.

* Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

What We’re Looking For:

* Knowledge of stoma care or previous experience in a healthcare support role.

* Administrative skills and familiarity with stock management.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing service needs.

* A dynamic, forward-thinking attitude with a commitment to high standards of care.
