General Foreman

Teamforce Labour are currently seeking a General Foreman for a Permanent position with our client in Leiston

Position: Civil Foreman
Location: Leiston (Suffolk)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage civil engineering projects on-site, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Supervise and coordinate the workforce, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor and control project progress, reporting to senior management regularly.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Civil Foreman in a similar role, with a solid understanding of earthworks, drainage, communication ducts and pavement construction, preferably within a highway’s environment
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
CSCS card (Supervisor level) required; SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
