Job Title: Handyperson

Location: England, Greater London, Peckham

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Salary: £21 - £21 per hour

Job Duties:

Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
Repair and replace equipment, fixtures, and fittings in buildings
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or building occupants
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a handyperson or similar role
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Good communication and customer service skills

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Vocational training in maintenance or related field is desirable

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a handyperson or maintenance role

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong practical skills in plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications in maintenance or trade skills

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily indoors but may involve some outdoor tasks
May be required to work on weekends or evenings based on maintenance needs
Physical stamina and strength are necessary for lifting and carrying heavy objects
