A leading UK developer, focused on creating vibrant and sustainable communities across London and the South of England, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor.
 
In this role, you will initially be assigned to manage subcontractor packages and later collaborate with the project team in the procurement of shell and core works. The project consists of 663 units across 8 cores, with piling scheduled to commence in September 2025 and completion expected by December 2029. This position reports to both the Senior Quantity Surveyor overseeing the packages.
 
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

Produce accurate estimates, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring effective cost control measures are in place.
Monitor site performance against original plans, budgets, and financial targets to ensure key milestones are met.
Provide detailed cost reports and updates within deadlines, regularly communicating with internal teams such as Sales, Land, Construction, and Technical Architects.
Take full ownership of surveying responsibilities on your developments, while supporting the wider Commercial team regarding financial status and profitability.
Produce detailed reports and presentations, focusing on proactive and efficient project management. About The Quantity Surveyor:

Proven experience in a similar role within the housebuilding industry.
Minimum HNC in Building Studies; RICS qualifications or a degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with land appraisal software such as ‘Site stream’ or similar.
Familiarity with current standards and building regulations, with excellent planning and organisational skills.
A self-motivated, proactive individual with strong attention to detail. In Return:
