PRIMARY SEMH special school - Ages between 5 TO 11 years old.

* SEMH Teaching Assistant required for an immediate start

* SEN Teaching Assistant being paid up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The school, based in the London Borough of Hillingdon, is a Primary Independent Therapeutic school devoted to providing a nurturing haven for its pupils with SEMH needs, where mainstream school was either not suitable or inaccessible for them.

The position – SEMH Teaching Assistant

A successful SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience of working with special needs students aged between 5 TO 11 years old and have a background in supporting students with a variety of Learning Difficulties and physical complexities. The SEMH Teaching Assistant’s focus will be a professional and passionate approach to developing life skills and independence for the young people they will be supporting. Experience of extensive 121 focused work is essential to this role.
