What You Need to Have...

Essential - NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Essential - Experience working with large engines, electrics, and diagnostics
Desirable - Experience in the biogas, power generation, or CHP sectors.
Essential - Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Desirable - Familiarity with engine control systems (DIANE, COMAP, DEIF, TEM) and 24V DC systems
Essential - A full UK driving licence.
Desirable - Gas Safe qualification (desirable but not essential).Key Personal Attributes:

Role Details

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be a crucial part of our client's operations, maintaining and repairing biogas engines (30kW-3MW) at client sites across the Southwest.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on CHP engines.
Diagnosing and resolving faults in mechanical and electrical systems.
Managing your own workload and accurately completing service reports.
Working with control systems such as DIANE, COMAP, DEIF, and TEM.
Participating in an on-call rota after the initial training period.
