General Manager - Telford - SME - Engineering

What You Will Do:

Participate in Senior Management and Leadership meetings, contributing to strategic decisions and reporting on division performance.
Manage key relationships, to ensure a close working relationships with vendors, suppliers and customers
Oversee the management of key suppliers and ensure technical expertise is available within the business for project consultation.
Lead the division towards meeting the overall growth targets of the company through strategic planning and execution.
Strategically manage and develop the business units within the Metrology Division, including CMM Inspection Products, Inspection Services.
What You Will Bring:

A commercial and technical background, preferably within the metrology or a related field but not essential
Proven experience in managing teams, departments, and budgets effectively.
You must have a good commercial awareness or sales, key account management and general business management.
Experience managing small, specialised teams within engineering or inspection
A minimum of HNC qualification or equivalent, or proven experience in a similar managerial role.
You will have current or previous experience as Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, Business Manager, Commercial Manage.
