Job Description:

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for nurturing young minds? We are seeking a dynamic and committed Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our talented team in Wandsworth. As a KS1 Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Key Stage 1 students.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and independent thinking.
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative learning community.
Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted support for improvement.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain curriculum consistency and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Implement effective behavior management strategies that promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
Encourage the development of literacy and numeracy skills through engaging activities and differentiated instruction.
Organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching Key Stage 1.
Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and structured learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with young children, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
Proficiency in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
