Operations Manager

Location: Camberley Area
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Are you a talented Operations Manager seeking a dynamic role within a market-leading engineering company? Based in the Camberley area, we are looking for a driven and experienced professional to lead our Operations department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a high-tech, innovative environment.

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee and provide leadership across key areas of operations, including:

* Production, Repair, Calibration

* Order Fulfilment, Purchasing, Planning, and Stores

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while managing costs efficiently. You will lead the team, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage a rolling production schedule.

* Oversee supply chain and logistics, making stock level recommendations in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Engineering.

* Ensure the ERP system delivers accurate, timely, and relevant business information.

* Report on production schedules, status, and challenges during weekly management meetings.

* Drive procurement improvements to optimise manufacturing efficiency.

* Support Engineering in pre-production planning, overseeing new product development programmes.

* Direct and motivate the Production team to achieve objectives, foster team spirit, and maintain high performance standards.

* Act as Production Planner when required, running MRP and planning production jobs.

* Ensure production equipment is properly maintained through repair, calibration, and routine preventive maintenance (PPM).

* Support quality initiatives to achieve high standards and minimise rework.

* Implement and sustain 5S methodologies for a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

* Manage Engineering Change Notes (ECN) processes effectively.

* Publish monthly reports and key performance indicators to senior management.

* Ensure compliance with QHSE/ISO standards
