Your New Role

As a project manager your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific jobs you are working on.

* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant standards, policies and procedures.

* Manage multiple projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.

* Manage all financial aspects of projects.

* Produce PO’s and order plant and all other items relating to the projects you manage.

* Ensure all extra works/variations are costed and invoiced.

* Provide cost value reconciliation for projects/contracts.

* Ensure all sub-contracts are approved in line with the company policies.

* Ensure project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H. etc.

* Assist in costing schemes for quotation as required.

* Identify and inform Directors / Senior Managers of commercial opportunities as appropriate.

* Review and monitor programme schedule using Project Management tools.

* Work in accordance with project programs to ensure dates and milestones are achieved to ensure projects are completed on time, first time

Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience

* Experienced as a Project Manager with a proven track record within the ICP/DNO sector.

* ICP experience at 11kV is essential & 33kV is desirable, but not essential

Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience

* Technical status and a qualified electrical engineer would be desirable, but not essential.

* A Manager who remains calm under pressure, can communicate with internal and external parties.

* Good time management and an ability to plan ahead.

* An individual who will pursue high standards, recognise improvement opportunities and learn from experience.

* An individual that takes a personal pride in making improvements.

* An individual who is aware of the operational needs of the client, whilst taking account the commercial implications

* A customer focused individual who is a team player and a self-motivated
