We’re looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Heath & Safety and Facilities team in Peterborough.

As our Health & Safety Advisor for the South & East, you’ll support and improve colleague safety and to provide assurance that the health and safety management system is meeting its legal requirements and that risk controls are in place and effective. This will be achieved through delivering colleague safety training programmes, supporting and advising colleagues in your areas and auditing to a schedule in order to monitor and analyse the performance of the health and safety management system.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £37,184 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Health & Safety Advisor?

Experience of internal auditing or auditing in a variety of health & safety fields
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use

Location: The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our Peterborough office with travel throughout the south and east region as required.

We’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage working from home, as long as we meet our customers’ needs.

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Second stage – final interview in person at our Peterborough office on Monday 28th October.
