Key Responsibilities

Out-of-Hours Support: Develop and manage an out-of-hours service to assist students facing welfare issues, ensuring they are connected to appropriate support services.
Social and Pastoral Programs: Design and promote initiatives that foster student engagement and well-being, helping residents build emotional and physical resilience.
Crisis Management: Act as the initial responder to critical incidents, maintaining accurate records and collaborating with internal departments and external agencies for a multidisciplinary response.
Marketing and Communication: Create marketing materials to encourage student participation in programs, utilizing social media to enhance engagement.
Community Relations: Build positive relationships between residential students and local communities through social events and activities.
Health and Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the residential site outside of office hours.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of Residential Assistants, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service.
Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative tasks related to university accommodation management, including reception services.
Budget Management: Oversee the Res-Life budget to ensure cost-effective delivery of programs.

The position operates on a temporary ongoing basis with a shift pattern of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, covering hours from 4:30 PM to 3:30 AM, including weekends.

Salary

The grade for this position is 6, with a salary range of £31,414 - £37,119
