Field Service Engineer

Our client, a trusted name in forklift servicing and repairs, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Cranleigh.

Key Responsibilities:
Travel across the Southeast, servicing and repairing forklifts for clients from Bournemouth to London and Kent.
Work on a range of forklifts, including gas, electrical, and diesel models.
Conduct fault-finding and repairs efficiently and accurately, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients during daily interactions.
Ensure all work complies with strict health and safety standards.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, or relevant background with HGVs, forklifts, plant hire, or experience working on ships or within the Royal Forces.
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to fault find and repair.
Personable and customer-focused, with excellent communication skills.
Willing to travel between multiple client locations across the South East.
What's on Offer:
Competitive salary at £35,000, increasing to £48,000* with overtime.
Uncapped overtime at time and a half after 8 hours, with paid travel (door to door).
40-hour workweek.
25 days holiday, increasing each year of service, up to 32.
