As part of a £50m turnover Group, Conservatory Outlet stands at the forefront of the home improvement industry. We specialise in high-quality products including contemporary extensions, conservatories, orangeries, replacement roofs, windows, and doors in both uPVC and aluminium. Our commitment to innovation and excellence drives our success, and we’re expanding rapidly.
We’re looking for a Yard Operative with a valid Fork Lift Truck license who will take pride in their work and ensure smooth and efficient yard operations. This is a fantastic chance to leverage your skills and experience in a role where you’ll play a crucial part in our exciting growth journey. You will have a positive outlook with a strong focus on doing the right thing, moving forward, being different and succeeding together. You will know what it takes to achieve targets – and you’ll have the motivation to get results.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7:00am-3:30pm. This role is based outdoors in our purchasing yard.
Role Responsibilities
* To check deliveries and move products between departments ensuring the factory have the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time.
* Working outside in a busy yard environment loading and unloading lorries.
* To move goods packed on stillage’s, pallets, or crates around the yard facility.
* To stack goods in the correct location bays.
* Any other duties as required.
Person Attributes
* An in-date Combi Lift and counterbalance license is essential.
* Excellent attention to detail with great organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues, managers, and customers.
* Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can work on own initiative with a can-do attitude with effective time management.
* Strong Health and Safety knowledge.
* A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
