BMS Engineer

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a BMS Engineer to work in the Chertsey, Surrey area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company. The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).
This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.
Salary: £48,000
(Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)

We are looking for a BMS Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:
Key responsibilities:
Conduct day to day property service checks of BMS & control systems in both commercial and domestic properties.
Daily monitoring of the system for faults.
Replace BMS parts (actuators, control modules, wall controllers & valves).
Downloading the software when replacing parts, i.e., control modules, fan & wall controllers.
Identifying defective parts and ordering them through line manager.
Checking adequate spares available.
Calibration of controllers etc.
Oversee & liaise with specialist contractors.
Liaise with managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient & effective service is delivered to the client & company at all times.
Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
Seasonal shift & on call rota.
Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
Any other duties as & when required

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
Experience in using TAC or Trend operating systems.
Experience installing or maintaining BMS control systems.
Preventative maintenance experience of all equipment by review and audit of materials and equipment periodically.
BS7671 17th Edition City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
Experience in 3 phase & star delta equipment.
Technical administration experience including periodic reporting and upkeep of accurate maintenance and service records.
Experience attending to ad hoc maintenance calls and break down repairs.
Significant proven experience.
Full clean UK driving licence.
