Job Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance department in overseeing the installation, operation, and upkeep of automated manufacturing/Engineering equipment. The role ensures all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The Maintenance Manager also develops preventive maintenance programs, addresses reactive maintenance issues, manages risk, and ensures business continuity. Additionally, the role involves leading a team of maintenance staff, promoting continuous improvement, and aligning maintenance strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventive and reactive maintenance.

* Ensure equipment is operational, safe, and compliant with regulations.

* Develop and implement maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

* Conduct risk management and develop business continuity plans for key equipment.

* Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing coaching and development.

* Manage maintenance schedules, perform equipment audits, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

* Extensive hands-on experience with mechanical systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
