Job Title - Humanities Teacher, Geography Teacher, History Teacher

Simply Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Humanities teacher to join a dedicated team of educators within a successful secondary school in Aylesbury. The school is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography and History lessons that engage and inspire students, promoting a deep understanding of the subject.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Geography/ History, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of effective teaching. The ideal candidate will be innovative, enthusiastic, and dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal growth.

This role is flexible for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons.
• Developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
• Leading and participating in extracurricular activities related to Geography.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Desired experience:
• Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of geographical concepts and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
