Wireless Network Engineer / Wireless Engineer / Wireless Specialist / Wifi & Network Engineer

Location: South Wales

We are excited to be working with a well-respected and forward-thinking healthcare organization in Wales and as the organization continues to expand its operations and technological footprint, they are seeking a talented Wireless Network Engineer to join their growing team and help build out their wireless / wifi infrastructure and capability, As part of a critical team within the organization’s IT infrastructure division, you’ll play a key role in shaping the delivery and evolution of cutting-edge network solutions that will enable the organization to meet its ambitious growth targets and help deliver innovative digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role, you will:

* Lead and deliver wireless projects to enhance and optimize network operations

* Oversee the design, development, and support of a robust and secure network infrastructure, including a large-scale Wi-Fi estate.

* Deliver technical expertise across networking, security (including firewalls), and wireless technologies to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.

* Play an integral role in improving and refining processes for service enhancement, adhering to agreed service levels.

About You:

We are seeking a candidate with:

* Strong hands-on experience in network support or a related field.

* Proven expertise in Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, security, wireless, and data networking.

* Strong knowledge of wired and wireless networks, with prior experience delivering Wi-Fi projects.

* A natural flair for time management, communication, and administration.

* The ability to innovate and optimize service delivery for continuous improvement.

* Ideally although not essential for at least one recognized certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWSP, CWDP or ITIL V3 Foundation.
