Maintenance Operative - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team around Daventry/Northampton.

The starting salary for the Maintenance Operative is £26,437.84 per annum or £12.71/ph.

* 40 hours per week

* 6am to 3pm

* 1-in-4 weekend shift. – Not on call.

As a Maintenance Operative your duties will be but not limited to

* General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.

* This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.

* PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).

* Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.

There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
