Job Description

We are currently seeking a Stock Controller to join our Operations team at our Skelmersdale site on a full time permanent basis

Salary: £28,411 per annum.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 18:00 to 06:00.

As Stock Controller you will contribute to the success of the Skelmersdale site by ensuring that all Stock Control processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents.

Job responsibilities of Stock Controller include:

Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
Monitor Autostore inbound delivery screen to ensure compliance with network KPI of loads started within 24 hours of arriving on site, completed within 5 hours of start.
Work with operational staff to ensure all issues relating to inbound deliveries are captured at source and actioned immediately or, mismatched back to the issuing site using the correct procedure.
Ensure, where feasible, in conjunction with operations, that cross-offs are kept to a minimum.
Any outbound orders that require rework are completed in a timely fashion and do not impact on customer service. And that where appropriate paperwork is completed.
Responsible for, in conjunction with shift managers, the controlling of any re-stack pallets and associated adjustments.

Qualifications

Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
Able to manage their own time to achieve daily targets.
Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and tenacity.
Experience of Autostore WMS.
SAP experience desirable but not essential.
