Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Environmental sector, and we are working closely with a provider of Environmental / Occupational Hygiene services for Commercial and Industrial clients. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join their longstanding team. You will be covering the North East region, carrying out various occupational hygiene duties including but not limited to: air monitoring, hand arm vibration surveys, LEV examinations and testing of indoor air quality. For the successful candidate, our client can offer career progression and training into other environmental sectors, generous holiday allowance and enrolment onto the company pension scheme.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding 1-2 BOHS qualifications in relation to Occupational Hygiene would be essential to the role (W501, W505, P601)
" Will have a strong background working as an Occupational Hygienist, working for a reputable environmental company.
" Exceptional knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Providing detailed and technical reports for clients.
" Able to work to client and company timelines.

The Role:
" Visiting Commercial and Industrial sites to carry out in depth air monitoring, COSHH, noise, fume, dust and hand arm vibration survey (HAVS) assessments.
" Conducting Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) examinations.
" Conducting tests on indoor air quality, emissions, and legionella.
" Ensuring work is conducted in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Providing clients with excellent technical advice, support, and in-depth reports.
" Working in line with company and client time limits.
" Assisting in the training of trainee Occupational Hygienists.
