SEN Support Assistant

Are you wanting a new exciting role?
An experienced SEN Support is required for a lovely Primary school in the Sunderland area. The successful candidate will work flexibly across the week in this full time role spending five mornings a week as a SEN Support Assistant where you would be working with six children in Years 5 and 6 for their learning needs (not ASD) and the teacher would provide the planning to follow. Across five afternoons per week, you would be working as a general Classroom Support Assistant. This role will begin ASAP and will be long term and ongoing. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal SEN Support candidate would:
* Have good classroom support skills
* Have a passion for working as a SEND Support
* Have had experience of working with SATS year groups
* Be able to organise themselves
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
