About the NPD Technologist job

The purpose of your role will be to support the NPD Department in all areas of product development, from initial concept through to launch.

Key tasks

* Attend and contribute to NPD and other meetings; work closely with Process Technologist, NPD, and Commercial teams to develop new concepts aligned with factory capabilities.

* Report all technical issues to the Process Technologist, Technical Manager, and General Manager; lead trial protocols and validation to ensure proper due diligence is in place.

* Complete assigned projects and tasks in a timely manner; coordinate factory trials for new products and process innovations; maintain project documentation and review progress highlighting risks and proposing solutions.

* Operate as an effective member of the technical team, offering support and constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and assisting in the development of departmental systems.

* This role would suit a recent food science (or similar) graduate looking for their first role within food manufacturing.

The NPD Technologist job (ref:8781) is based in Corby, Northamptonshire and is paying up to £28,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 33 days annual leave including bank holidays, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Retailer discounts, wellbeing calendar, 4% Employer pension after 3 months, BUPA Private Medical, BUPA Cashplan.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, Office Hours (with flexibility).
