Workshop Assistant

Contek Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a precision engineering client, based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. They are currently approaching a busy period and are now looking for a Workshop Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client specialise in the manufacture of precision parts and components for the Formula One and Medical industries.
For the right person, training can be give to move into a machining or quality-based position if you'd like it.
Working Hours: Full time (Flexible to suit you)
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Helping out around the workshop, assisting machinists with anything that they need.
* Basic assembly of metal components.
* Deburring and polishing of metal parts.
* Emptying swarf containers.
* Keeping the workshop in a clean and tidy state.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Previous experience working with metal parts is preferred.
* Ability to commute to High Wycombe is required
