Nursery assistant

Premier Recruitment are looking for a Nursery assistant with a level 3 childcare qualification who can work Full time. The nursery is a Private nursery and they need a Nursery assistant who can work the 07:45 - 16:00 for one week and then 10:00 - 18:15 on an alternating weekly shift pattern.

Hours: Mon - Fri 07:45 - 16:00 for one week then 10:00 - 18:15 for one week then it repeats.

Salary: £31,000 - £32,000

Duties:

* Keeping the nursery safe and clean: Ensuring the nursery is clean and safe for children

* Helping children feel settled: Supporting children's long-term progress and being a key person for some children.

* Changing nappies of children when needed.

* Monitoring and assessing children's progress: Observing children's educational and development progress, and reporting any problems to the nursery teacher

* Liaising with parents and carers: Educating families on proper care, and communicating with parents regarding developmental progress or problems

* Maintaining records: Keeping records of the children in their care for compliance reasons

* Organizing activities: Organizing activities, such as games and educational tasks

* Assisting superiors: Assisting superiors with their tasks, such as creating lesson plans.

Essential:

* 1 year Nursery experience

* Level 3 Childcare Qualification

* In house chefs and housekeepers meaning no washing up or preparing food. You can just focus on being a nursery teacher.
