About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner in the preschool room, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 3–5 years. Working closely with a team of experienced early years professionals, you’ll contribute to the children’s early learning and development, supporting them as they prepare for their transition to primary school.

Key Responsibilities

* Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.

* Supporting children’s individual learning needs and helping them reach developmental milestones.

* Creating a safe and welcoming environment that promotes positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.

* Observing and assessing children’s progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to individual learning plans.

* Collaborating with team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to care and learning.

Requirements

* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (essential).

* Proven experience working in a nursery or preschool environment.

* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

* Passionate about working with young children, with a warm and caring approach.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
