The Company
Our client has over 50 years of production and service experience, with an established reputation in its specific field. The company is considered to be the longest standing producer of screen-printing machines both nationally and internationally. With a reputation for quality and solidity the company makes machines for a wide range of sectors, priding itself on understanding both the markets and its customers’ needs.
Due to expansion and a healthy order book, the company has a requirement for an experienced Panel Wirer.
The Role
·
Electrical fit out, assembly, wiring, cabling and testing.
·
Reading, interpreting and updating schematic diagrams and layouts.
·
Working within allocated time frames
·
This position is permanent employment – directly through the company.
·
Working hours are Monday to Friday – 8am - 4.45pm with an earlier finish on a Friday
Required Skills
·
Electrical Trades Certificate (but not essential)
·
Control & panel wiring and cabling experience.
·
Ability to read and work from detailed electrical schematic diagrams.
·
Ideally with knowledge of PLC knowledge ie; Mitsubishi
·
Candidates must have previous Machine or Control Panel wiring experience, ability to read and work from drawings and schematics.
·
Fitting/kitting-out of Control Panel Cabinets, incorporating MCC, Relays, PLC’s and wiring of
special purpose machinery.
·
Ideally you will be apprenticed trained and qualified to a minimum City & Guilds level (but not essential)
·
We would love it also if you have previous experience of prototype or panel wiring and assembly / mechanical.
The Rewards
The rewards for the successful candidate are excellent. The company provides first class training with continued support from their production team. They are willing to pay a competitive starting rate of £28,400 per annum with plenty of overtime available, which is paid at enhanced rates.
