Protyre Autocare are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. We are currently seeking a Tyre Fitter to join our growing team.

Our Tyre Technicians / Fitters are responsible carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles on the roads while maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

Location: Protyre Tavistock – previous home of Tavistock Tyre and Exhaust

About you:

*

Full valid Driving Licence

*

Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Fitter either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship

*

Excellent customer service skills

*

Ensure the work is carried out in line with Company policies and procedures.

*

The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

*

The willingness to constantly learn and improve your knowledge.

*

The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work.

About the role:

*

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles on the road.

*

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

*

Remove and refit components and conduct related adjustments.

*

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

*

Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

*

Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

*

To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures
