Dunbar Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in Northampton, which is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team immediately This is an exciting opportunity for an HLTA who is passionate about supporting students across year groups in a school that truly values excellence in education.

Role Overview

As an HLTA, you'll be an essential part of the teaching and learning process, supporting students and teachers in achieving high standards. You'll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, lead small group sessions, and provide tailored support to help each child thrive. This role offers variety, impact, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day in an exceptional school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons and support across various subjects, working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop resources and ensure curriculum objectives are met
Track student progress, offering constructive feedback and adapting support to meet individual needs
Lead interventions for students who may need additional help, helping them to build confidence and reach their goals
Uphold the school's high standards and contribute to its positive, encouraging learning environment

What We're Looking For

HLTA qualification or equivalent, with experience supporting students in a primary school setting
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, with the confidence to teach and lead small groups independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
Adaptability, creativity, and a proactive approach to supporting teachers and students
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping every child succeed
