Job Title: Amazon Manager
Salary: £30k - £50k
Location: Hertfordshire, Hybrid
Contract: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Job Purpose:
My client is seeking a highly motivated Amazon Manager to oversee and drive the growth of their Amazon marketplace operations Worldwide. This is a strategic yet hands-on role, requiring a strong focus on merchandising and operations. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketplace and internal departments to optimise their Amazon presence, increase revenue, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies aimed at achieving a year-on-year increase in revenue across Amazon, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
* Drive pricing, promotional, and product strategy execution to maximise profitability while adhering to margin targets.
* Oversee day-to-day Amazon operations, focusing on order fulfilment, inventory management, and process efficiency.
* Regularly audit internal processes to maintain compliance with Amazon’s policies and identify areas for operational improvement.
* Collaborate with Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on priorities and high-quality delivery.
* Act as the main point of contact for all Amazon-related initiatives, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to align on objectives.
* Work closely with external suppliers, distributors, and fulfilment partners to optimise Amazon marketplace processes.
* Provide regular reports on sales performance, trends, and profitability, recommending actionable adjustments.
* Use Amazon Brand Analytics, search query data, and performance metrics to enhance product discoverability and customer engagement.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience managing Amazon Vendor or Seller accounts, with a proven record of driving growth and operational optimisation.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong proficiency with Amazon Brand Analytics, search query tools, and performance metrics.
* Solid knowledge of Amazon’s marketplace policies, particularly within European regions.
* Must have a strong ability to convert business objectives into actionable strategies, driving sustainable growth.
* Advanced analytical skills, using data to influence decision-making and optimise operations.
* Exceptional at coordinating cross-functional teams and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
