We are recruiting for a Hygiene Manager on behalf of a leading client of ours in the food and drink industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team following significant recent investments. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will lead and manage a team of 6, taking charge of the entire hygiene function across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee all hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards across the facility.
-Ensure that all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for hygiene tasks are up to date and followed consistently.
-Manage hygiene training across the site, ensuring all staff are fully trained in line with company policies.
-Lead and mentor the hygiene team, driving performance and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
-Maintain a strong focus on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards, ensuring compliance at all times.

Requirements:

-Previous experience in a similar role within the food and drink industry is essential.
-Proven ability to lead and manage a hygiene team, delivering results and fostering a collaborative working environment.
-Experience with ambient products is preferred but not essential.
-A strong understanding of HACCP and BRC standards.
-A keen eye for continuous improvement and the ability to move the team forward effectively.
