Bookkeeper

Space 8 Recruitment are supporting a very well-respected accountancy practice to find a Bookkeeper to join them on a part-time basis in their stunning office just South of Coventry. This company has been established for over 30 years and is a respected local employer, recognised for their encouragement of work/life balance and for rewarding their staff. 

The Role

This role is Bookkeeper within an Accountancy Practice so on behalf of the Practice's clients you would undertake the following duties; 

Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
Completing VAT returns
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Managing employee expense claims
Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts

This role is offered on a part time basis, 20 hours a week, and some hybrid working is available.

You must already be a Bookkeeper and able to fulfil the duties detailed above.

This company is offering a generous basic salary of up to £17 per hour
