Motor Vehicle Trainer/Assessor Location: South Derbyshire
Salary: Approximately £20,000 after pro rata (0.5 contract, 2.5 days per week)
Contract: 22.2 hours per week

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Motor Vehicle Assessor to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding College in Derbyshire The successful candidate will train and assess apprentices in both the classroom and workplace, helping them achieve their full potential in knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours.

Days split:

1 day working on-site at the college (any day)
1.5 days remote/on the road, supporting apprentices in the workplace (any days)
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 Motor Vehicle/Automotive qualification
Driving licence and access to transport (essential for workplace visits)
Willingness to work towards Level 2 English and Maths if not already qualified
Teaching and assessor qualifications are desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate
