BI Developer – Qlik / Power BI

Role Overview:

Duration: 12 months Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £75-80k

Location: 1 day per week in the office in Bracknell

Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development:

·       Qlik: Continue building and enhancing dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and are user-friendly.

·       PowerBI: Develop new dashboards and reports, focusing on integrating data sources and automating connections.

Training and Support:

·       User Training: Conduct training sessions for internal users on how to build and customize reports in PowerBI.

·       Technical Support: Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation of dashboards.

Central Repository Creation:

·       Hub Development: Build a central repository for all users to access various reports, ensuring it is intuitive and easy to navigate.

·       Report Customization: Enable users to customize reports according to their needs, including publicly shared bookmarks and personalized settings.

Data Management:

·       Data Integration: Work with various data sources, including SAP AFO, REST API, Oracle CX cloud, and Horizon bespoke system, to ensure seamless data integration.

·       Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the dashboards, performing regular checks and updates.

Collaboration and Communication:

·       Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.

·       Executive Reporting: Assist in driving the agenda for PowerBI adoption among executives, demonstrating the value and potential of the tool.

Continuous Improvement:

·       Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in BI development, continuously seeking ways to improve existing dashboards and processes.

·       Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with users to gather insights and make necessary adjustments to the dashboards
