Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, site personnel, and materials to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
Report to the Site Manager and assist in planning and scheduling project phases.
Monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications and project plans.
Maintain records, complete daily reports, and communicate project progress with stakeholders.
Lead site meetings and resolve any on-site issues promptly and efficiently.
Assist in risk assessments and ensure corrective measures are implemented where necessary.Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a General Foreman, ideally within water treatment or civil engineering projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety protocols, and environmental management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with subcontractors and engineers.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
Competency with project management software and reporting tools.
Valid CSCS card or equivalent qualification.
