Role Summary
Dunbar Education is thrilled to represent an outstanding opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to take on the Head of Faculty role within a high-achieving Science department. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of seven Science teachers, fostering a positive learning environment and consistently delivering strong results. This is a role for an inspiring leader with a drive to innovate and support a collaborative team culture.

The Opportunity

Lead the Science Faculty, raising standards and ensuring exceptional teaching across the department.
Foster and communicate a shared vision within the team to support and inspire growth.
Play a key role in the operational leadership of the academy, collaborating with senior leadership.
Contribute to strategies that drive teaching excellence, student achievement, staff development, and well-being.Ideal Candidate Profile

Collaborative, forward-thinking, and committed to achieving the highest standards.
Proven record of successful teaching across all key stages, with an ability to make learning both challenging and enjoyable.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status and a strong academic background, ideally with an Honours Degree or equivalent.
Experience with both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
Exhibits high personal standards, including reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to teaching and leadership.
