The Client

Our client is providing a wide variety of land and engineering surveying services to the construction, insurance and valuation industries from multiple sites in across the UK. Our client has a reputation for excellence, in all aspects of Land Surveying and their pay particular attention to their client’s requirements in the most professional and economic way.

The Role

As a surveyor, you will deliver efficiency and quality to ensure targets are met. This is an integral role within the

team, and you will thrive on seeing yourself grow as a surveyor and individual over time. You will be responsible

for delivering the required company standards on a day-to-day basis.

* Carrying out jobs independently without constant supervision

* Being first line support and a mentor for junior surveyors

* Providing continuous feedback to managers on other surveyor's performance and quality

* Prioritising one day per month on personal development utilising the development package provided

* Achieving the daily target set to the required standard in the allocated timeframe

* Ensuring all data is collected, checked and basic editing is carried out before uploading at the end of each shift to the correct folder

* Using own initiative to problem solve, eliminating errors as far as reasonably possible

* Identifying problems and providing solutions

Experience Required

* Knowledge of (but not limited to) general surveying practices (Traversing, Levelling, Laser Scanning, Topographical Surveys, Setting out)

* Experience of using various GPS, Total Stations and Levelling equipment (Leica/Trimble)

* Experience with using surveying software, preferably AutoCAD, N4ce and Star*Net but not essential

* The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

* Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements

* Full UK Driving License
