TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across South Glos. We are actively recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

As a cover supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting schools by ensuring continuity in students learning when teachers are absent. You'll manage classrooms, maintain discipline, and ensure that students stay on task with pre-set work. You can also choose to work as little or a much as you wish, as we have shifts to suit each individual needs. Whether you want to work a day or a week we have the shift to suit you

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience
Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16
Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
