As Oxfordshire's leading supply teaching agency, Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Year 5 Class Teacher in a Primary School in Abingdon. This Year 5 Class Teacher role is a part time position with the school looking for a teacher to work 3 to 4 days per week. There will be planning and marking included in this Year 5 Class Teacher role alongside collaborating with other members of staff both within the class and throughout the school.
This Primary School is proud of it’s close links to the local community as well as their passionate teaching staff. The school is a one form-entry Primary School who are looking for someone who can join their teaching staff and embody the passion towards supporting the students.
Year 5 Class Teacher Role:
Strong knowledge of the curriculum in KS2
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Reception Class Teacher Requirements:
Hold Qualified Teaching Status
Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
Experience working with SEND is desirable
