We are looking to recruit a Social Worker Within the Adoption Team in Northamptonshire.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee duty tray to process enquiries and action tasks on LCS
Give advice on duty
Back up on duty if no cover by recruitment officers
Complete Local Authority Checks
Supervise 3 staff members
Group supervision lead
Foster Carer Ambassador linking - working with Ambassador co-ordinator
Skills To Foster oversight of attendance
Undertaking complex case work and undertake complex initial visits
Transfer protocol meetings for Independent Fostering Agencies
Presenting the fostering Information event on line via MS Teams or in Person once a month
Attend Recruitment Events - as needed
Meet with fostering CSWs to discuss cases and processes for assessment
Review systems and collate data
Deputise at meetings for Team manager
Attend Fostering Team Meetings
Lead on identified project

Whilst we only require around 6 days a month in the office, we do not do the bulk our assessment work virtually, we expect social workers to meet in person with families. This means that it will be required that they can be in the Northamptonshire area to do visits with families regularly.

Minimum Requirements:

SWE Registration
3 year post qualifying experience within UK
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
Eligibility to work in the UK
