Panel Wireperson

Our client is a leading provider of generator solutions, dedicated to delivering top-quality power products and services to their clients. They are now looking for a Panel Wire person to join their Colchester branch due to the growth of the business. Successful candidates will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of control panels for generator systems,

ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. In return, they are paying up to £35,360 and provide a generous holiday package.

Panel Wireperson Job Overview

Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure functionality and performance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Document all wiring processes and maintain accurate records of panel builds.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

Panel Wireperson Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Control System Panel Wireman or in a similar electrical assembly role.
Strong understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and control systems.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).

Panel Wireperson Salary & Benefits

Salary: £14.00 - £17.00 an hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Annual leave: 22 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday paid (after 1 year holiday increases by 1 day per year for every full year completed up to a maximum of 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday).
