up to Basic £48,000 plus on call and overtime
We are currently working with a leading provider of bespoke energy solutions and they are looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team and you will be based at any of the following areas;
Leeds / Manchester / Sheffield / Doncaster
As their commercial gas engineer will be to be responsible for servicing, repairing and commissioning of various gas appliances ranging from light commercial to large industrial. Carrying out works in a timely manner to a high standard, identifying faults and providing quotations and feedback to the sales and contracts departments.
The role; *Service of boilers, forced draught burners, water heaters, overhead radiant tubes & warm air heaters*Identify and diagnose faults and repair a wide variety of gas appliances.*Commissioning of boilers, burners, water heaters and warm air units*Carrying out testing and purging of pipework systems to igem/up/1a & igem/up/1*Requirement to join an on-call rota (frequency dependant on location)*Liaise with the helpdesk team to ensure workload is completed and agreed SLAs are met.*Be able to read and understand site specific Rams.*Working to pre-defined industry policy / Guidelines
Essential: *Commercial gas qualifications - COCN1 CORT1 CIGA1 TPCP1 &1A ICPN1*Ability to service and fault find on commercial gas appliances using electrical testing equipment.*Ability to use own initiative to problem solve in challenging situations.*Industry standard completed apprenticeship.*Full clean driving license*Reliable, punctual, and flexible to support the role and all members of the team.*Able to work alone under limited supervision.*Able to operate handheld electronic device.
A competitive salary package for the Commercial Gas Engineer offered at up to £48,000 with on call and overtime on top. (full package can be discussed on application. )
