If so, you could be our next Building Surveyor here at Peabody, ensuring that our homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards for our residents.

You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day and major repairs, voids (empty homes), and planned preventative maintenance within your local area. Working closely with colleagues and contractors, you’ll provide expert technical advice and help us deliver a seamless service to our customers.

You'll be hands-on with site inspections, managing contractors, and ensuring that all works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. With your attention to detail and focus on quality, you’ll help us achieve value for money and improve customer satisfaction.

To be a success in this role, you’re:

* experienced within building surveying and well versed in building pathology, preferably within a social housing context

* degree qualified in Building Surveying or hold a similar technical qualification (HND HNC)

* experienced and skilled in managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction

* experience in building strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors

* experienced in using M3 NHF SOR (Version 8 preferred).

This role will require a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
