Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive is presently collaborating with a fantastic mainstream secondary school across Essex. These schools are looking for a driven Cover Supervisor to work with their amazing staff for the entire academic year.

In the event that there are teaching staff members absent from the classroom, you, as the Cover Supervisor, will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of the school. As you adhere to the predetermined lesson plans, it will be your duty to make sure that the pupils stay involved and focused on their studies.

It will be necessary for the effective Cover Supervisor to supervise students during class and make sure they are in a positive learning environment. It is crucial that you have confidence in your ability to teach lesson content and control classroom behaviour.

Throughout the academic year, you will be expected to uphold the school's high standards for conduct and safety, communicate with teaching staff to guarantee continuity of instruction, and assist students with their learning when needed.

Requirements and expectations for this role:

Experience of working within a school environment
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to our company's workflows and culture.
Having an interest in child development
A compassionate approach to student care.
